News from Holt

Two directors from the Melton Constable Trust recently had a meeting with Holt Town Council and Duncan Baker North Norfolk MP.  It was a very useful meeting and is a step forward in bringing public rail transport back into Holt.

There is of course a lot of work still to do and for it to succeed.  This project  requires the co-operation of all parties which the introduction of rail will affect.

 

 

Hunstanton

The campaign to reopen the King’s Lynn to Hunstanton Railway line continues.  On Thursday 19th May 2022, a presentation was given to the Hunstanton & District Civic Society by rail enthusiast Howard Johnston.
